Sculpey Polymer Clay, found in most good craft stores ( I dont know where you live, but HobbyCraft in the UK and Michaels in the US are the best places to go)

Hey!
I have just FALLEN for your tutorials, but I was just wondering what you use to make it, y'no, like the names, I want to make some and show off my new found skill. By the way, I live in the UK, will that have an effect on being able to find these things?

THANKS, CA

I made this! And thanks to you, I've made many more charms and am experimenting all the time. Without you I never would have found this simple enjoyment, I can't thank you enough. You don't have to look, naturally, but here are some of the (goofy-looking) ones I've done so far:

Panda - [link]
Fox, Bunny, future Raccoon - [link]

I also have a floppy-eared puppy that's yet to be painted and a turtle in the oven as I type.. 5 minutes left! My mom also stole some clay and made a weird looking ducky. XD

They look silly and kind of creepy but I'll get better with practice! I did your glaze trick for the fox and bunny limbs but man I have to tell you.. it's HARD. I didn't expect it to be simple but hfjsdgshgfa you make it look so easy! I made such a mess and had to redo it a few times. @_@ Did it take you a long while to get the hang of it, too? I'm tempted to keep making clay limbs like the panda.. or just paint them on, haha! Do you have any (more) tips for doing the glaze limb drops so they stay nice and round? It took foooreverrr for mine to dry- prolly gunna WHIP OUT the blow dryer or something next time LOL.

Also.. I humbly request a link to your FAQ on your frontpage. I usually dig through your deviations until I can find one where you link it since it's also hard to find in your journal history. >_<

Awww they look great! They look a lot better than the first charms I made hehehe keep it up!! Honestly, that tutorial is so old I dont do a lot of that stuff anymore, I paint on the glaze now coz it started giving me so many problems when I dipped them, and I make the limbs out of tiny bits of clay too. I think theres a link to the FAQ if you look at the bottom of my comment

OH! There is, that will be sooo helpful. XD I refer back to your tutorial a lot. Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my question- and I'm sorry I had to ask it, I don't like bugging artists. >< I actually hadn't tried to dip the glaze yet anyway, I had been painting it on with a big ole brush.
